NuSoulCity is no doubt raising Polish neosoul/funk/r'n'b music's hopes.They were one of the favorites in Polish Competition for the Coke LiveFresh Noise in 2007 (they were selected by jury from among many participants) and they took part in music workshop with the most popular musicians in Poland such as : Bartek Królik and Marek Piotrowski (Sistars) and Smolik. The group was the favorite in Polish Competition organized by PEPSI and theyperformed on stage with The Black Eyed Peas in 2007 in Warsaw during BEP'sconcert. They also received 3th Prize – Music Space- (they won in the Internet voting). They are working on their debut album right now which is expected to be launched in the summer 2008.
In 2007 NuSoulCity could have been seen in many Polish towns. They played manyconcerts in clubs as well as performed open-air shows.This year seems to be very rich in rewards, too.They will be working to spread their success across the world. From thebeginning NuSoulCity consists of two very creative people who love music(OlgaWozniak- vocal – graduate of a prestige Jazz Academy in Katowice, Poland, and MateuszTomaszewski – bass-player) . One of the strongest points of this unique Polish group is the fact that they always play live. Lead vocal, guitar ,bass , piano , drums and three background vocals are essential for the creation of the hot atmosphere at each of their concerts.
