"In london I was doing with my friend Oke once a month for a night called Strictly Soulful @ Epicurean Lounge the venue was taking around 350 guest and we use to fill it out...but after I left to play in other clubs & bar ....still in london : Red Bar, Cosmo bar....plus other little venue around...I have been clubbing for many many years but now I kind of retired and put my passion of House Music in djing...the dj who make the sound of my music i like are...(to make a short list )...frankie knuckles, tony humpries, MAW, todd terry, alix alvarez, frank roger, scott wozniak, miguel migs, chuck love, paul trouble andreson, bobby & steave, fish go deep, joey negro, dj spen, louis benedetti, vocal like barbara tucker, arnold jarvis , micheal watford, ron carroll, kenny bobien, india and so on an on...

Since its creation, the band holds a residency at the lounge bar and restaurant Mezzanine de L'Alcazar- Paris- France. Damdistrict, surfing the wave of bootlegs, performs live on the most recent lounge and deep house releases, creating a totally exclusive mix.
Lounge diner time, happy dancefloor... Damdistrict is a musical and visual experience that creates a warm and unique atmosphere. Their innovative Dj sets and live gigs are suitable for just any type of audience and events So....Live!
All the guests of Foksal19 in Warsaw will never forget the three shows they have made, fantastic, sensual, groovy....amazing.

Mr Root with smoothrhythm agency

DJ, music producer, ex. jazz and blues drummer, event organizer, used to compose music for games and demos for Amiga computer. As a DJ Mr.Root started in the year 2001 in Warsaw Index Club on brasil/latino parties. Then he found out that house music is his main musical area. Mr.Root play energetic music. House, vocal house, electro house. He was an official and unofficial resident of clubs like Faberge, Barbiebar, Zoo, Extravaganza in Warsaw. He has visited many clubs across the country and played with numerous polish and international DJ's.
Mr.Root is a member of Dervbooking Agency (www.dervbooking.com) and He hosted two internet radio shows on www.essentialclubbers.co.uk and www.transmissionfm.com.

Mr.Root has signed to a swiss label Deepless Records (www.deepless.ch) in 2006. Since then he became one of the main Deepless producers and remixers. In 2007 Mr.Root signed to world famous Miss Moneypennys and Pacha Recordings and later to polish Camey Records in 2008. He remixed tracks of artists like Dervish, Inaya Day and Mike Davis, Facamolada, Peyton, Moleda. For song writing Mr.Root teamed up with two great artists: Pepper MaShay, Nick Sinckler. His last project is called OVER 30 with a very talented actress and singer Mo-J. Mr.Root's tracks are very similar to his DJ style - positive, energetic, uplifting but allways house

Mr.Root – (Robert Korzeniewski) DJ, producent muzyki, perkusista bluesowy i jazzowy, organizator eventow. W świecie klubowym zaczynał jako DJ latino i perkusista w formacji Festa Brasil Project w 2001 roku aby niedługo późnej stac się stuprocentowym DJ'em housowym. Mr. Root był rezydentem takich klubów Barbiebar, Extravaganza, Zoo, Faberge, Cassino. Prowadził swoje audycje w dwóch brytyjskich internetowych stacjach radiowych Essential Clubbers Radio oraz Transmission FM oraz ściśle współpracuje z agencją Dervbooking Agency.

Mr.Root jest jednym z niewielu polskich producentów muzyki klubowej, który wydaje swoją muzykę za granicą. W 2006 roku podpisał kontrakt ze szwajcarska wytwórnią Deepless Records a w 2007 z Miss Moneypennys UK i Pacha Recordings. Współpracuje z takimi artystami jak m.in. NuSoulCity promoted by smoothrhythm agency

NuSoulCity is no doubt raising Polish neosoul/funk/r'n'b music's hopes.They were one of the favorites in Polish Competition for the Coke LiveFresh Noise in 2007 (they were selected by jury from among many participants) and they took part in music workshop with the most popular musicians in Poland such as : Bartek Królik and Marek Piotrowski (Sistars) and Smolik. The group was the favorite in Polish Competition organized by PEPSI and theyperformed on stage with The Black Eyed Peas in 2007 in Warsaw during BEP'sconcert. They also received 3th Prize – Music Space- (they won in the Internet voting). They are working on their debut album right now which is expected to be launched in the summer 2008.


In 2007 NuSoulCity could have been seen in many Polish towns. They played manyconcerts in clubs as well as performed open-air shows.This year seems to be very rich in rewards, too.They will be working to spread their success across the world. From thebeginning NuSoulCity consists of two very creative people who love music(OlgaWozniak- vocal – graduate of a prestige Jazz Academy in Katowice, Poland, and MateuszTomaszewski – bass-player) . One of the strongest points of this unique Polish group is the fact that they always play live. Lead vocal, guitar ,bass , piano , drums and three background vocals are essential for the creation of the hot atmosphere at each of their concerts.

Since some months we create a new kind of atmosphere at Foksal19 and this event is what we totally like.....
a good dj at the groundfloor "Dio", one of the best dj in Poland, he play a fantastic deep house, west coast music... so great and by the way he was also the first dj who let me play with him when i move to Poland (one year ago...!!!) @ Nobo Bar (one of my best spot in the city of Warsaw....). Thanks Pawel.....
Dio will play with Sqbass, for me its one of my best surprise in Poland, his voice is on the top and i like to listen all the special effects he is creating with his magic box!!!! Sqbass is in the place!!!
At midnight our guest will be ready to make a great an original mix, "Fred Dupont" is the master of private jet set parties, u can have a look on his website www.fredevents.com, he play house music, bootlegs, rnb, funk..... he was already @ Foksal19 in september for the event "Bubbles party" and our guests are all the time asking me when he will be back!!!! so it will be for next saturday!!!
